Audio/Video Creation

Several resources within the School and the University are available to faculty wishing to create audio/video learning materials. 

Lecture Capture:
Capture and synchronization of audio and video from classroom lectures.  See http://olat.creighton.edu/Lecture%20Capture.aspx for more information.

Audio Recorders:
Audio recorders are available for faculty to check out from the Office of eLearning and Academic Technologies by contacting an instructional designer. (Ms. Alynne Wize: awize1@creighton.edu or Ms. Bette Poutre: bpoutre@creighton.edu).

Audio/Video Studio:
A small audio/video studio is available for SPAHP faculty on the first floor of the Hixson-Lied building in the Pharmacy faculty office area.  The studio includes:    To reserve the studio contact Ms. Pat Prime (pprime@creighton.edu).

PodCasting Studio:

Video Cameras:
Video cameras are available for faculty to check out from the Office of eLearning and Academic Technologies by contacting an instructional designer. (Ms. Alynne Wize: awize1@creighton.edu or Ms. Bette Poutre: bpoutre@creighton.edu).

Video cameras are also available for check out from DoIT's Academic Technology division.  Call x1111 option 1 to reserve a camera.

Wacom Tablet/Sympodium/Smart Board:
These tools may be used to capture live motion of annotations made to PowerPoints, Word documents, web pages, etc.  Great for creating demonstrations of how to solve calculations problems.
