Request for Increase in Email Storage

Process for Requesting Additional Email Storage Allocation
 
 
All Creighton University faculty and staff are provided 300 MB of email storage space. Funding for email storage space in excess of the 300MB provided by the University is the responsibility of each department and administrative unit. Additional email storage space is available on a monthly basis in increments of 100 MB at a cost of $12.00/100MB/month. 
 
The following process has been established for SPAHP faculty and staff requiring additional email storage space.
  1. Faculty/staff must complete the SPAHP Request for Additional Email Storage Allocation form.
  2. SPAHP Email Allocation Request form is submitted by the faculty/staff to the department chair or leader of the administrative unit to which the faculty/staff is assigned.
  3. Notification of approval or disapproval of the request is communicated to the requestor by the department chair/administrative unit leader. Further discussion of the request is at the discretion of the department chair/administrative unit leader and requestor.
  4. Requests approved by the department chair or leader of the administrative unit are forwarded, via email, to the Office of eLearning and Academic Technologies (OLAT) at olat@creighton.edu.
  5. OLAT makes the request to DoIT to increase the email box storage allocation.
  6. DoIT notifies the faculty/staff of the implementation of the increase.
